Barriers to scalability and adoption

The on-premise infrastructure limited growth and adoption. It lacked scalability for concurrent screenings, created barriers to distribution, and made maintenance and deployment slow and complex.

Approach

Cloud-based re-architecture

We re-architected the system into a secure, HIPAA-compliant cloud platform using AWS for infrastructure, Terraform and Ansible for infrastructure-as-code and automation, and primarily Python and React for application development.

Close collaboration with the research team

We worked closely with the university's researchers and developers to integrate the computer-vision models that analyze video-based social interactions and to streamline efficient deployment.

Outcome

Enabling growth in digital health

The project evolved from a research-driven prototype into a production-ready, cloud-native solution. The client is now equipped to scale screenings nationwide, accelerate institutional adoption, and strengthen its impact in digital health.
